Permit increase granted

In September 2023 we announced that our Leeds site had been given planning consent to increase our throughput of APCr by 30,000 tonnes, this was pending the approval of our environmental permit variation by the Environment Agency.

It is with great pleasure that we can now confirm our permit variation has been granted, allowing the processing of up to 120,000 tonnes of APCr at our Leeds site each year.

This isn’t just great news for the business, it’s also great news for the environment and the construction industry, with the potential of a further 30,000 tonnes of APCr being saved from landfill and creating approximately 75,000 tonnes of carbon neutral aggregate for use in the local construction industry.
