We had great pleasure in welcoming Liz Truss, our local MP, to our proposed new site at Larkshall Mill, Wretham on Friday 4th November.  It gave us the opportunity to showcase our proposals and explain how our process will help towards achieving Government’s net zero carbon objectives, both through permanent carbon capture, and supplying our carbon negative aggregate to the local construction industry, helping to decarbonise the built environment.

Ms. Truss showed a genuine interest in our award-winning process as well as our proposals for the site, how this will provide quality jobs to the area and develop a unique and fully sustainable industry in her constituency.  The Company is proud to have this high-level interest in its significant and long-term investment into this community.

The details of our recent planning consent, as well as the proposal to increase tonnage, were discussed followed by a tour of the site.  Our friends from Mission Zero Technology, who are looking to install a pilot plant for direct carbon capture at the site, were also able to present their plans to Ms. Truss.

The visit was kindly arranged by Breckland Council.  Our Chairman Richard Skehens and Operations Director, Paul Barber hosted Ms. Truss as well as Sam Chapman-Allen, Leader of Breckland Council and his officers.
