O.C.O continues its relationship with FCC’s Allington Energy from Waste plant

We ares very pleased to announce the completion of a 3-year contract which will see us receiving and recycling over 30,000 tonnes of Air Pollution Control residues (APCr) generated at the Allington EfW plant and diverting it from landfill.

O.C.O uses its patented Accelerated Carbonation Technology to treat the APCr with carbon dioxide which, in doing so, permanently captures the carbon and mixes the carbonated material with other binders and fillers to manufacture a carbon sustainable aggregate, Manufacture Limestone or M-LS. In fact, the M-LS captures more carbon than it generates in its manufacture. O.C.O has been working with Allington EfW since 2021 to recycle and divert its APCr.
