O.C.O Technology transitions to v4 of BES 6001, maintaining an EXCELLENT rating

O.C.O are pleased to announce their successful transition from Issue 3.1 to Issue 4, whilst maintaining the EXCELLENT rating in the Framework Standard for Responsible Sourcing BES 6001. A rating we have held since our inauguration into the standard in 2021.

The BES 6001 standard is a means of securing certification to demonstrate through independent, third-party verification and certification, that raw materials for products certified against the scheme have been responsibly sourced and that O.C.O Technology operates in a way that minimises the impact on our environment and natural resources.

This is a significant achievement once again, especially with the transition to the latest version of the standard, requiring input from all areas of the business, As a result, customers can be confident they’re working with a company that is committed to sustainability.

This certification is a demonstration of a shared goal and collaboration throughout the supply chain, something that will be necessary to meet the construction industry’s overall carbon reduction targets and broader environmental standards. Using our unique ML-S products can assist in achieving this goal too.
